School has started, be careful not to hit the kids when driving.

 

September is National Disaster Preparedness Month.

Sept. 2 is V-J Day

Sept. 11 is Patriot Day

Congress chartered the American Legion on Sept. 16th

Sept. 17th is Constitution Day and Flag etiquette day.

The third Friday of the month is National POW/MIA Recognition Day 

 

Membership really started great this year thanks to our Officers in charge.

 

Come out to our picnic this year at the Children’s farm and enjoy the day.

 

Our timeline for moving has changed.  Vice Commander Reger and I have talked to the contractor on several issues and were told it would be late October or early November before the building will be done.

 

Don’t forget to come in for coffee on Mondays and Fridays.  See you soon.
